KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Newmar honored several its dealers during a Tuesday evening awards banquet at the manufacturer’s annual dealer meetings.
Dealers were honored for receiving Delivery CSI Awards and Warranty CSI awards as well as top sales awards and the coveted Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award.
The company also presented the first Not Just a Number Award to the dealer that best exemplifies the manufacturer’s attitude toward its customer.
Newmar Chairman Dick Parks said the award is a reflection of Newmar’s statement of company purpose.
“As we put God first, with the help of our talented people, we can be first in product and service leadership and then – and only then – can we provide a profit to our dealers,” he told the assembled crowd at the Gaylord Palms Resort. He said customers only show up in a service department because “we made a mistake. We want them on the road and happy. Good quality is a result of a company’s quality.”
