The Dyrt and SylvanSport-created #GetOutAndGO contest has announced Austin Robinson, from Centerville, Ala., as its winner.
An avid outdoorsman, Robinson loves spending time on his road bike, running and rock climbing. He can also be found behind the lens, taking photographs and getting his feet wet as he learns to kayak.
A recent graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Robinson received a degree in Mechanical Engineering as he prepares to start basic training for the Air Force this September. Until then, Robinson will be road tripping in his new GO through Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and eventually Colorado, where he will be working at a summer camp and exploring on the weekends. He’ll also be visiting the Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks between camp and basic training.
“We couldn’t be happier for Austin and hope he has some great adventures in his new GO,” said Kyle Mundt, VP of marketing for SylvanSport. “We’ll be keeping in touch with him along the way and updating everyone on what he’s up to.”
The #GetOutAndGo contest was a highly complex social media campaign involving SylvanSport, The Dyrt and 25 major brands in the outdoor industry. For 40 days, a daily prize was given away, while highlighting outdoor recreation spots around the country. The success of the campaign was the result of many hours of logistics, coordination of brands and content creation and helped to connect outdoor enthusiasts with the RV industry.
