The 100,000th Montana rolled off the assembly late July. To help celebrate this milestone, Keystone GM Jason Gill and Montana District Sales Manager Scott Taylor visited Holiday World of Alvarado, Texas, to deliver the fifth wheel to Owner Michael Peay and VP of Sales Kevin Hoffpauir.
Montana, introduced in 1998, quickly grew from producing 627 fifth wheels in its first year to become the No. 1 selling fifth wheel brand in the U.S. for 11 consecutive years between 2001 and 2011.
Montana reached the milestone of No. 1 selling fifth wheel brand in North America for the first time in 2016, according to Statistical Surveys. Since 2007, Montana fifth wheels have been awarded the prestigious RVDA DSI Award nine times and the RV PRO“Best of Show” award last year.
“We attribute this achievement to our incredibly strong production team, nearly 20 years of industry leading product designs, the strongest dealer roster in the business and most importantly, our extremely loyal Montana owners,” said Mark Krol, Montana product manager. “Our veteran production team includes over 80 skilled craftsmen that have built Montana fifth wheels for 10 years or longer. This allows us to build the most complex and innovative floor plan line-up in the industry with unsurpassed quality and efficiency.”
The 100,000th Montana is a 3811 Master Suite featuring the Sahara Stone full body paint from Keystone’s state of the art paint facility.
“Holiday World is one of our premier dealer partners,” said Krol. “With five locations in Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth, Holiday World has sold over 2,000 Montana fifth wheels in the past 14 years.”
“We have been a proud partner with Keystone since 1997, so this marks our 20th anniversary with a great RV manufacturer,” said Hoffpauir. “We are honored that Keystone has chosen Holiday World to represent the one of a kind 100,000th Montana. … We have decided to become a full line Keystone dealer because of their commitment to dealers and our customer base.”
