Liberty Outdoors is sponsoring Tearstock/Eggshells The Outer Banks event taking place Columbus Day Weekend from Oct. 6 to 9 in Camp Hatteras RV Resort in Waves, N.C. Little Guy Worldwide, Serro Scotty and ParkLiner are a few of Liberty Outdoors premiere product line, which will be featured at the rally at a free public showcase event.
The rally management company, RV Compass, is founded and led by Jeannine Patané. She oversees this year’s merged event, which has grown to exponential numbers. A record number of 150 to 200 small eclectic trailers are expected to roll into the oceanfront resort by the October holiday.
With Patané’s prior rally experience and the host sponsorship of Liberty Outdoors, the combined efforts have created an informative, educational and entertaining schedule of events. In addition to the Liberty Outdoors line, many brands of small fiberglass travel trailers will be present.
Kitty Hawk Kites is sponsoring a free campsite for the rally weekend, awarded to the attendee who referred the most friends. The official schedule of events will be available at the beginning of September. RV Compass organizes the registration check-in, conference center coordination, and informative Outer Banks information through expansive interpretive displays and engaging, interactive activities.
Liberty Outdoors has lined up Vinyasa yoga on the beach, led by Diana Kuen of girlreinvented.com. Nightly outdoor music is booked for attendees with Saturday and Sunday evening hosted by Deejay Dave Glenn Alley. Liberty Outdoors is also providing campfires, trailer awards, a catered “Life’s a Beach” dinner and a catered “Columbus Day Voyage” breakfast for attendees.
One of the featured events is keynote speaker veteran, Janine Pettit. She is the host of the “Girl Camper” podcast. Janine just completed a road review of the new Max by Little Guy Worldwide during a four-week National Parks Tour this summer, and will give a keynote presentation Sunday evening.
Through her podcast and social media connections, Pettit has helped fuel the “girl camping” movement by showing what is involved in owning, operating and towing their own travel trailer.
She hopes to educate, encourage and empower women to join the Girl Camper family through her media work, public appearances and Camper College workshops hosted by dealerships. She is scheduled to do a live podcast during the Public Showcase of Liberty Outdoors Premier Trailers, held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Camp Hatteras Conference Center. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a live broadcast of the event is covered by Jody O’Donnell of the Moose and Jody Morning Show on Beach 104 FM.
Included in the showcase event is a large merchandise tent that gives visitors a place to shop for trailer accessories, T-shirts, jewelry, and rally memorabilia. Campers will also find the TearDropShop.com tent a place to pick up and drop off their ballots for the camper’s choice trailer awards.
