Yesterday, Grand Design RV broke ground on two new state-of-the-art facilities, just across from the current complex, located at 11333 County Road 2 in Middlebury, Ind. Grand Design President and CEO Don Clark spoke before a crowd of more than 250 people that came out for the event.
The $10 million expansion is meant to meet current demand in the RV market, and should be completed by Spring 2018.
In attendance were Indiana Sen. Todd Young (who gave a speech during the ceremony), Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, and Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. Both Young and Walorski spoke on the growth that not only Indiana is experiencing, but especially Grand Design. The two new facilities are being built south of two of the newest Grand Design facilities.
