Rich Schnippel, head of inTech’s RV division, announced the unveiling of the ultra-lightweight Luna.
In 2016, inTech entered the RV industry with the development of the Flyer – a line of lightweight adventure trailers that were simple in design, yet rugged. The Flyer’s all-aluminum, fully welded cage frame was different than any other micro-lite on the market, and has been met with interest from tent campers and outdoor enthusiasts.
“The Luna is different than anything the ultra-lightweight market has ever seen before,” said Schnippel. “We’re not reinventing the wheel or anything, we’re more or less just perfecting it. I had spoken with a lot of people at different RV shows that explained the typical teardrop trailer was just too confining, so we came up with a better mouse trap … it was that simple.”
inTech’s Luna features all-aluminum cage construction, a full fiberglass front cap with a wrap-around tempered glass windshield, and stylish fenders and rear bumper. The unique exterior profile provides this micro-sized camper with a much larger interior feel, while the massive front windshield and two 48-inch wide windows on each side of the camper allows campers to feel connected to the outdoors.
Available features on the Luna include Dexter Torsion Axles, 10,500 BTU Basement A/C with Heat Pump, 40-inch LED TV, AM/FM/CD/DVD, 3-burner gourmet LP stove, stainless steel Microwave Oven, 12V/120V Refrigerator, LED Lighting, Aluminum Wheels, Enclosed LP compartment, frameless windows, and more.
inTech will debut the Luna at the upcoming Elkhart RV Open House in September at the RV Hall-of-Fame Complex.
“inTech gives our dealers a larger protected territory than they’re used to receiving from other manufacturers,” Schnippel said. “Our customers are willing to travel to see our trailers and we’re not looking to put a dealer on every corner, we believe that devalues the exclusiveness of our product.”
