Lance’s high tech manufacturing facility in Lancaster, Calif., found that 95 percent of attendees end up purchasing a Lance ultra-light travel trailer, truck camper, or toy hauler. Lance hosts 500-plus participants annually, coming from all over North America as well as internationally.
“At every opportunity, we encourage our customers to ‘Discover the Lance Difference’ for themselves,” said Bob Rogers, Lance’s director of marketing. “And there is no better way than to take a tour of our facilities where you have an opportunity to meet the folks who design and build our RVs and see firsthand the precision that results in the very high level of quality experienced in a Lance product. It’s the best sales tool we have.”
Lance will soon add a view of its new 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art CNC and lamination facility to its tour, both of which will tentatively open this fall.
“We wanted to step our game up a bit during this experience for our customers. This year we have added individual adjustable hearing devices allowing everyone to clearly hear the tour guides information regardless of the level of background noise,” said Rogers. “All tour participants also receive a nice bag loaded with Lance goodies as a parting gift and reminder of their day with us.”
Tours are held on select Wednesdays, with the exception of holidays and staff availability.
