Riverside Travel Trailer, Peru, Ind., has changed its name to Vohne Liche Manufacturing to more closely align with owner and president Kenneth Licklider’s other businesses.
“The Vohne Liche name is synonymous with the best and highest quality products in our fields of expertise,” said Licklider, who started Riverside Travel Trailer after purchasing the assets of the defunct Adventure Manufacturing facility in Peru, Ind.
Licklider, a decorated military veteran, is the leading military and police dog trainer in the world, and was featured on the NatGeo channel reality series “Alpha Dog”.
“We want to convey to the camping public our commitment to building the highest quality products their dollar can buy,” he said. “Vohne Liche companies supply tough, military grade products to all branches of our armed forces and to governments and police agencies around the world. I expect our travel trailers to be built to the same standards”
Vohne Liche Manufacturing makes travel trailers under the Riverside and Dream brand names as well as the RPM toy hauler line.
“We use the phrase ‘built military tough’ to describe our products, said vice president and general manager Jerry Sell. “And to a certain extent, that is true because we are trying to build the best trailers in our class, not the cheapest,” he added, noting that the average warranty runs under 1 percent of invoice.
Vohne Liche Manufacturing will be showing trailers during the Elkhart Open House on Executive Parkway near the RV Hall of Fame. Dealers may call Sell at 765-472-3920 for more information. For more information, visit www.vlmrv.com.
