At the recent Elkhart Open House, Jayco introduced the Orbital on its Eagle HT line of fifth wheel trailers. The Orbital rotating rubber pin box is the result of collaboration between MORryde and Jayco, which enables short bed pick-up trucks for 90-degree turns without the use of a slider hitch.
The Orbital utilizes MORryde’s rubber shear spring which works to absorb the transfer of energy from the trailer to the truck, reducing the jerking and chucking common to fifth wheel towing. The Orbital can also be used as a standard rubber pin box and allows for conventional towing due to its lock-out feature.
Eagle HT is the only product line combining the Orbital with MORryde’s CRE3000 rubber equalizer system.
