Gulf Stream Coach recently launched a new line of 20- to 27-foot lightweight travel trailers called Capri. The high-key color and art-deco teal exterior metal was first unveiled at September’s Open House.
“Dealers at the Open House told us they see significant sales opportunities for a product like the Capri, that gets back to the basics of outdoor fun,” said Paul Campbell, Gulf Stream Coach’s director of marketing. “They are seeing a growing segment of the RV market, both experienced owners and newcomers, looking for simple, rugged, well-built trailers that have a unique, engaging look, and a value price that fits perfectly into tight budgets and busy lifestyles.”
The Capri line has a bright exterior color, and new retro decor inside.
“We’re telling people to consider Capri to be their ‘base camp’ in the great outdoors,” said
Campbell. “Sure, it has all the comforts and conveniences of a well-designed, well-built travel trailer. But Capri gives people an affordable way to realize their dreams of travel, adventure, and relaxation.”
The initial release of Capri models includes seven floorplans, with net base weights of 3,000 to 4,000 pounds. Complete information and display units will be available at the Gulf Stream Coach display at the Louisville RVIA show in late November.
