InterVac Design Corp. of Palm City, Fla., announced the expansion of its partnership with Keystone RV Company’s Hideout division.
The new Hideout LHS-Series travel trailers introduced at Open House will include as standard equipment the InterVac CS built-in central vacuum. In addition, the InterVac system will continue to be featured on the Hideout luxury and Retreat destination trailer lines.
Susan Schlapkohl, vice president of InterVac Design, calls the continuing partnership “great news for our company.”
“We made a commitment over two years ago to develop a product that will enable Keystone to offer every RV owner a high-end luxury central vacuum at an affordable price,” she said. “Customers are looking for more residential features in their RVs today and this is just one more luxury item that can now be offered. As the first travel trailer in the industry to offer InterVac’s built-in central vacuum, Keystone’s Hideout raised the bar for residential convenience. According to Hideout Product Manager Matt Christensen, the central vac has been a huge hit with both Hideout dealers and retail customers. “The InterVac system is one additional feature that sets the Hideout apart providing a unique selling opportunity for our dealers,” he said. “Retail customers view the InterVac as adding extra convenience and value to the camper. It truly is a win for everyone.
“LHS is designed to appeal to the new buyer looking for a smaller and lighter travel trailer yet desiring the luxury and convenience of a larger unit,” he added. “Hideout LHS models are under 30 feet in length and around 6,000 pounds or less in weight. By including the InterVac system in the LHS, we are able to deliver the right features at the right price, right now.”
