Elkhart, Ind.-based Heartland RV’s flagship Landmark 365 will be rolling out six 2019 floorplans at the September Elkhart RV Open House.
“The Landmark was the brand that introduced Heartland to the RV industry when the company launched in 2004,” said Chris Hermon, Heartland’s president. “It’s a true flagship fifth wheel and has developed a high level of brand recognition with luxury fifth-wheel buyers.”
General Manager Andy Wesdorp reported that the Landmark experienced a record shipment month in July while posting a year-over-year 46 percent gain during parent company Thor Industries fiscal fourth quarter, ended July 31.
“I believe that a key reason behind Landmark’s success is that there is absolutely no overlap in the six floorplans,” said Wesdorp. “We want to offer dealers something for nearly everyone with distinctive features that target all segments in that high-end demographic. The end result is we hope that dealers retail sell all six models.”
The 2019 Concord will offer a four-slide rear kitchen floorplan.
Features include:
- Seating for seven with an extra-long sofa slideout
- Fully equipped kitchen with a 21 cubic-foot fridge
- Dishwasher prep
- Seventeen windows throughout the interior
- A bedroom with a walk-in closet, backlit headboard, 22-inch deep dresser and power lift bed
Heartland also will introduce the Rainier, Landmark’s shortest coach with an exterior length of 37-and-a-half feet.
“There is more demand today for shorter models,” said Joel Eberlein, senior general manager. “Consumers want the flexibility to get in and out of state parks or not be limited by available spaces at campgrounds. However, they don’t want to sacrifice features and amenities. The Rainier model is perfect for that customer.”
“The model change Landmark has contrasting colors throughout with dark cabinetry and light flooring that emulates residential interiors,” said Wesdorp. “Our design team put together some dynamic interior concepts for this ‘whole house’ model change that we can’t wait for dealers and customers to see.”
“The 2019 lineup has 20-plus standard features that are exclusive to Landmark,” said Coley Brady, VP of sales and marketing.
