Idaho-based Bish’s RV has completed the purchase of 45-year-old Brockman’s RV, according to a report from kmvt.com.
The two companies finalized the deal, which is part of Bish’s larger expansion plans, Wednesday (Feb. 24).
According to the report, Bish’s RV plans to keep the existing employees on staff.
“Brockman’s business values went hand-in-hand with the values we hold at Bish’s RV,” Bish’s President Troy Jenkins said. “We want to continue that legacy that Steve Brockman started.”
Brockman’s RV is a Jayco-only dealership. Currently, Bish’s RV sells Jayco products at three of its locations and was lacking the ability to sell the brand in the Twin Falls area, according to the report.
“We’ll continue to keep this location a Jayco-only dealership,” Regional Director Kacey Jensen said. “We’re excited to now offer Jayco products to our existing customers in the Magic Valley.”
Bish’s, which claims to be the largest dealership in the state, has ambitions for expansion to other states in the coming years, and is scheduled to break ground in 2016, as the company moves its Nampa store from its current location to Meridian, Idaho.
The new state-of-art, 55,000-square-foot facility will feature an indoor showroom, an expanded RV parts department, and a 26,000-square-foot Service Department complete with a body collision repair shop.
“I’m excited for the future of Bish’s RV and the expansion opportunities that come our way. I want to let other RV dealership owners know that Bish’s RV is your alternative choice for retirement, keeping your legacy going,” Jenkins said.
