Forest City Motorhomes, London, Ontario, recently announced that it will be closing its doors after 45 years of business. Co-owner Gary Goertz told RV PRO that a large part of that decision came after Erwin Hymer Group North America suddenly shuttered and laid off more than 800 of its employees earlier this year.
According to Goertz, Forest City was the largest Roadtrek dealer in Canada. Rapido Group recently acquired the brand, but the dealership will be closing before Roadtrek returns to full operation.
Forest City is currently holding a sale on all units.
