Winnebago Industries will help NBC’s TODAY Show weatherman Al Roker on his quest to set a world record for the fastest time ever reporting the weather from all 50 states.

Traveling in a new Winnebago Fuse, Roker will be completing a weather forecast in the southern states of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida on Wednesday (Nov. 11) morning.

The Fuse is Winnebago’s newest motorhome model.

“Built on an all-new Ford Transit chassis, the Fuse and its agile platform will be the perfect fit for this leg of Roker’s fast-paced journey across the U.S.,” Vice President of Sales and Product Management Scott Degnan said. “This ambitious itinerary will require the use of planes, trains, automobiles and boats, but we are also glad an RV will be used because nothing says American road trip quite like a Winnebago motorhome.”

Rokerthon 2 started in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Friday and worked its way through the Pacific Northwest and Western U.S. throughout the weekend. During the coming week, his trip will continue to crisscross the nation until stops are made in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Along the way, Rokerthon 2 will support Feeding America, an organization devoted to feeding those in need.
