Forest River’s Coachmen RV is entering the class B market with the debut of the Galleria motorhome.

The Galleria Class B Motorhome Division is a standalone division within Coachmen with a dedicated Class B manufacturing facility located on Coachmen’s 230-acre complex in Middlebury, Ind., according to a news release.

The Galleria is built on a 170-inch extended Mercedes Benz Sprinter platform and powered by a 3-litre V-6 turbo diesel engine with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Chassis amenities include a backup camera, blind spot monitoring, collision avoidance and the Electronic Stability Programme.

Specific exterior amenities include an armless power awning with LED lighting and a wind sensor, a 100-watt solar panel with a dual controller, Truma combination furnace/hot water heating system, an Onan 2.5-killowatt generator and a 12-volt macerator wastewater disposal system.

The cab area features hardwood maple cabinetry with radius doors and soft close hinges. The cabinets are topped with Corian countertops, euro-style sink and an induction cooktop.

Three floor plans will be offered featuring three or four captains’ chairs. Sleeping options will be handled by a power rear sofa or electrically operated independent twin beds, which are 80-inches long.

Color options will include two interior colors (graphite or cream) and two exterior colors (silver and arctic white).
