In early August, RV manufacturers, dealers and suppliers will join members of the Family Motor Coach Association for the first international FMCA rally in the state of Massachusetts.
The Eastern States Exposition, also known as the Big E, in West Springfield will host association members August 3 to 6 as they celebrate all things related to motorhome travel. Additionally, motorhome manufacturers, dealers and suppliers will display their latest parts and models as part of the event.
“We are thrilled to be planning FMCA’s first-ever international convention in the state of Massachusetts,” FMCA national president Charlie Adcock said. “Not only did the Northeast play a part in the birth of the United States, but it also played a role in the founding of FMCA back in 1963. The meeting where FMCA was formed took place in New England, and many early members lived there as well.”
In addition, more than 300 indoor booths will be chock-full of RV-related components and products, and company representatives offering a variety of services to RV owners also will be on hand.
Consumer seminars will cover more than 100 different topics throughout the event, according to the news release from FMCA.
On Aug. 4, The Texas Tenors will present a patriotic salute with their show titled “Let Freedom Sing.” The following night (Aug. 5), The Dave and Daphne Show will perform, and on Aug. 6, Massachusetts native and country music recording artist Ayla Brown will perform.
Details and pricing are available here. For those who want to view only the motorhome exhibition, admission costs $10 per day; children 12 and under are admitted free with an accompanying adult, as are those with an active military ID.
