Augusta RV opened its first factory direct outlet in Elkhart, Ind.
The move coincides with the company’s plan to move from a dealer network model to factory-direct distribution of its units, announced last year.
The outlet, located at 2314 Cassopolis St., is about 15 minutes from the factory.
“We are looking forward to opening more factory direct outlets strategically placed around the country,” the company said in a news release. “We feel this will help with brand recognition and sales as we continue to grow.”
