Though upset victims and employees decried the lack of justice, a sentence of jail time and a large amount of restitution was handed down to a woman who pleaded guilty to stealing more than $600,000 from her employer, Keystone RV.

USA Today reports that Cheryl Everson, 40, will spend two months in Franklin County Jail, seven months on electronic monitoring, and an additional 39 months on probation for her guilty plea to felony theft. The Clear Spring, Maryland woman must pay $506,670 to Keystone RV, her former employer, and an additional $115,000 to Erie Insurance.

Everson had a $100,000 check ready to pay back to Keystone RV, in court Wednesday. Her ability to pay back that lump sum was a key factor in why prosecutors and attorneys for Keystone RV went with the plea agreement, they said in court.

One official with Keystone RV described to Franklin County Judge Angela Krom the lifestyle Everson was living while she was stealing money, while already receiving a yearly salary of $112,000.

He talked about her time-shares, constant new cars, Washington Redskins season tickets, cosmetic surgeries and more. He said Everson asked for more money on several occasions, which she said she needed to pay everyone else in the company.

"I think about how long it took me to make a million, and how quickly she got it," the man said, referencing what he believed was a theft of closer to $900,000 rather than the more than $600,000 required in restitution.
