Dealers are invited to a free webinar that will explain how to comply with new OSHA rules taking effect on August 10 regarding reporting, drug testing and safety incentive programs.
Dealers can register online for the webinar from the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. It takes place Tuesday, July 19 at 2 p.m. (ET) and will be presented by KPA.
Are you confident that your safety incentive program meets the new requirements effective August 10? Do you know when it's appropriate to require a drug test after a workplace accident? Can you confirm that you are reporting injuries and illness correctly? If you cannot definitively answer those questions, your dealership could be at risk of being non-compliant with OSHA regulations.
KPA’s Eric Schmitz and Kathryn Carlson will lead a discussion on the new OSHA rule and its impact on drug testing and safety incentive programs. The webinar will cover the recent amendment to the OSHA workplace injuries and illness recordkeeping standard that requires employers to electronically submit their injury and illness information online, increases in OSHA fines and penalties, and how the new rule may affect your post-accident drug and alcohol testing program. Also, learn how to correctly report workplace injury and illness while also ensuring that your post-accident and safety incentive programs are not discouraging your employees from reporting injuries.
If you cannot attend the live event, look for it in the Learning Center’s dealer webinar archive after the webinar airs. The dealer webinar archive features more than fifty webinars on issues related to human resources, F&I, environmental health and safety, and other current topics of importance to dealers.
