Shipments of park model RVs rose from July and August, but remained steady compared to 2014 numbers, according to the RV Industry Association.
Park model shipments are only 12 units behind last year’s year-to-date numbers (2,642), and matched August 2014 with 275 shipments during the month.
The RVIA also released data for which regions received shipments of park models last month.
The East North Central region – which includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin – tops the list with 60 shipments, followed by the Pacific region (Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington) with 47 shipments.
