The North American Trailer Dealers Association hosted its ninth annual trade show at the Music City Center for the second year in a row from Sept. 8-10.

“We are very proud to announce that our show has grown immensely since last year with a 9 percent increase in dealership attendance,” says Andy Ackerman, president of NATDA.  The 2016 NATDA Trade Show & Convention had a total of 486 dealerships in attendance.

The weekend kicked off with Dealer Education on Thursday, Sept. 8, with eight courses that were designed to bring dealerships to the next level. Keynote speaker, Bob Clements, of Bob Clements International, delivered a seminar entitled “Dare to Be Different”. Following dealer education, H&H Trailers hosted a dealer reception at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.

On Friday, Sept. 9, LINK Trailer Parts provided coffee, donuts and hosted the Exclusive Technical Training. The Exclusive Technical Training provided dealers with hands on technical training that they could “take back to the shop” from technical experts with Blue Ox, PullRite and Cequent Performance Products.

This year’s show featured the New Product Display where dealers voted for the best new product of the season.  NATDA is proud to announce the official winners:

1st Place – Airtug Trailer Tugs Heavy Duty Gas Trailer Tug

2nd Place – TexTrail Trailer Parts LiftGator Removable Liftgate

3rd Place – Gen-Y Hitch GH-1224

The first day of the trade show was closed out by Redneck Trailer Supplies who hosted the “Redneck Honky Tonk”.

Next year’ show is scheduled Sept. 7-9, 2017, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
