Highland Ridge RV’s first unit rolled off the line at the company’s new Plant 3 manufacturing facility adjacent to the original Plant 1 in Shipshewana.
According to a news release Thursday (Oct. 27), the 96,000-square-foot plant will support double the company’s current production.
“We are so excited to be able to provide a brand new state of the art facility for our Open Range ‘Light’ and ‘Ultra Lite’ production teams that will allow us to continue to grow with double the production capacity,” Highland Ridge President Randy Garber said.
“Demand for our Ultra Lite and Light products continues to grow, so the increased capacity that Plant 3 provides will allow us to meet those demands for our dealers and customers in a timely manner,” said Ben Johnson, the company’s national sales manager and product development manager. “This new facility also gives us the opportunity to go after other markets without having capacity concerns. All in all, it’s a very exciting time for everyone here at Highland Ridge RV.”
