
Sobel University’s October Comprehensive Sales Course broke previous attendance records that were set in 2006, the company said in a news release Friday (Oct. 28).
The sales training was attended by dealerships from 12 different states and more than 75 percent of the students were first time attendees.
“Dealers remind us that this is their pre-season training camp. They show up ready to get their staff set-up for a fast start in the spring,” Sobel University President Randy Sobel said. “Right now, dealers are rotating their staff through classes by sending a percentage of their salespeople through each of the 5-day winter courses.
Sobel hosts advanced winter courses, only open to repeat students. Sobel expects a high turnout from managers and owners.
“While October had a high percentage of new students, December’s advanced course is only open to repeat students, and January will see a high attendance of managers and owners,” he said.
