Manufacturer Erwin Hymer Group North America reported that the company continues to build and expand its service and warranty team.
The company made several personnel changes, hoping to build upon the customer service and warranty reputation of Roadtrek, which the European company acquired last year.
The organization recently appointed Troy Becktel to the position of director of service and warranty.
Becktel brings more than 25 years of experience in the development of comprehensive luxury service models for motorized vehicles and will be leading a team who will focus on the after sales experience, including technical training, service development and product support.
Chris Deakins, who has been with the company for over 20 years in a service role, has been promoted to service, warranty and parts manager, and will be working closely with Becktel in building the service side of the business. Deakins’ vast knowledge of the industry and the company’s product line up and technologies is a vital part of the company’s success and is an integral part of the organizations growth plan.
“Our customers are the most important part of our business and we take pride in the reputation we have built as having the best customer service and warranty in the industry,” Erwin Hymer Group North America VP of Sales & Service Mike Snell said. “Troy and Chris bring a combined strength to the service side of our business that is above anyone else’s in the industry. We are thrilled that they will be working together to enhance and grow our already strong service team and continue to build the after sales service offerings.”
