Park model manufacturer ESCAPE Homes debuted its new ESCAPE Vista Sport and ESCAPE Vintage XL models, according to a news release Thursday (Nov. 10).
ESCAPE Vista Sport is a 110-square foot rolling retreat that creatively incorporates a queen-size bed, bathroom, multipurpose work/dining bar, optional hidden sink/stove and windows galore into a tiny portable home that is slightly larger and less expensive than the average sized car.
The 13-foot long miniature cabin is ESCAPE Homes’ tiniest, lightest and most portable home yet and is perfect for quick getaways or as an extra bedroom, workspace or guesthouse. It is priced from $29,800 and sleeps two.
ESCAPE Vintage XL offers 360 square feet of living space highlighted by a revolutionary first floor bedroom suite with a queen-size walk around bed, making it one of the most traditional tiny home designs on the market.
It is slightly larger than its recently introduced sibling, ESCAPE XL, and features a similar classic cabin style with an exterior wrapped in cedar lap siding, elegant window panes, butcher block kitchen table and counters, built-in bookshelves, vintage ceiling fan and barn door. It is priced from $73,400 and sleeps four.
Both tiny homes are easily transported via their own trailer, and crafted with high-efficiency insulation and climate control options that allow them to withstand extreme heat or cold. Power usage is minimal and water, power and utility hook-up takes just minutes, enabling them to travel with the whim of their owner.
Washer and dryer, flatscreen TV's with Blu-ray, stone countertops, USB outlets, cellular shades, and exterior shower, are additional options available as well as solar power and off-grid programs for the true outdoor adventurist.
Although built like cottages, by law ESCAPE Vista Sport and ESCAPE Vintage XL are Park Model RVs, and therefore require no foundation and are not subject to property tax.
