Chinook Motor Coach recently opened its RV plant located at 29449 US Highway 33 West, Elkhart, Ind. After acquiring the old Cardinal plant, it was redesigned, refurbished, and enhanced to a revamped, modern facility that is now open to dealers.
Units are available to test drive that are outfitted with suspension enhancements and offer an anti-rollover safety system. The Class B manufacturer will be resurrecting and improving the Glacier line.
Displays of raw Ford cut away cab and chassis, Ford Transit Vans, Mercedes Sprinter Vans, and some completed Country Side Vans are available to view.
Chinook President and CEO Phil Rizzio invites dealers to tour the facilities which are open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
