inTech RV is beginning full production on its all-new modified teardrop camper called Luna, which was debuted at this year’s Elkhart RV Open House.
“The level of success we had with Luna at the show was almost impossible to imagine,” said Rich Schnippel, director of RV Operations. “We sold more units and signed more dealers than we could have ever hoped for with this new product.”
Luna has a unique profile when compared to traditional teardrop trailers, the most obvious being a full front fiberglass cap that features a wrap-around tempered glass windshield. The rear of the camper is along the lines of more traditional teardrop trailers with a lift-up rear door that gives access to a full gourmet-style kitchen.
inTech wanted to build a teardrop style trailer that would complement the already popular Flyer adventure trailers. One of the biggest issues people have with traditional teardrop trailers is feeling confined and claustrophobic; Luna’s design takes advantage of not only a larger front area, but also the enormous front windshield that really opens up the trailer and makes it feel larger on the inside.
“Unlike any other teardrop trailer, Luna’s front windshield gives you that million dollar view, it’s so easy to pull up to a lake, rolling hills or beach and aim the front of the camper to that beautiful landscape,” Schnippel said. “Luna is an exciting and fun camper.”
