Grand Design President and CEO Don Clark is a semi-finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year competition sponsored by Ernst & Young. Clark is a semi-finalists for the Ohio region, covering Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
Clark was undergoing interviews before eight judges in Cincinnati last week at the same time Grand Design was breaking ground for two 110,000-square-effot facilities the company purchased near its current Middlebury, Ind., campus to help the fast-growing RV maker reach its stated goal of $400 million in sales for 2016. That event drew several local and state dignitaries, including Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
“It is an honor to be named an Ernst Young finalist,” Clark told RV PRO in a written statement. “However, this is an award that our company, Grand Design RV and our people have earned not just myself. My two awesome partners, Ron and Bill Fenech, are just as deserving of this honor. …
