Forest River is recalling 159 of its 2015-17 Prime Time Crusader trailers, model CSF370BHQ due to an incorrect cargo carrying capacity label, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The federal placard on the affected trailers incorrectly indicates the cargo carrying capacity as 800-900 pounds, but should list the capacity at 2700 to 2800 pounds. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, Certification.
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a corrected Federal Placard. The recall is expected to begin June 17. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-862-1025. Forest River’s number for this recall is 49-04172016-0178.
