The completely redesigned Sunset Trail struck all the right notes with CrossRoads dealers at the recent RV Open House, according to a news release from the manufacturer.
With lightweight travel trailers sales amongst the fastest growing segments in today’s RV market, dealers see the all-new product line as providing them with a big advantage.
CrossRoads President Ryan Juday explained that Sunset Trail has undergone a complete redesign over the past six months.
“Dealers absolutely loved what we have done. We reduced weight by an average of 10 percent across the board by utilizing a six-sided aluminum superstructure,” Juday said. “A refined high-gloss fiberglass exterior along with a two-tone painted front cap make the Sunset Trail stand apart from the crowd.
“And our new interiors incorporate many of the residential design features found on luxury models including vaulted ceilings, wood-trimmed windows, Bourbon-Maple glazed hardwood cabinets, stone backsplash, stainless steel appliances and a two-tone décor with contrasting beadboard in the slideout rooms.” Adds Juday, “Best of all, we are able to offer dealers all this at a price point that hits the sweet spot of the market.”
General Manager Nate Nickell notes that Sunset Trail Super Lite will initially be offered in eight floorplans ranging in length from 22 to 36 feet, including rear bath, double bath bunk house, rear living and rear kitchen models.
“Across the board we have added over 25 sought-after features that will enhance the camping experience,” Nickell said. “Features like aluminum entrance steps, friction hinge entry doors, slam latch baggage doors with magnetic latches, and motion detection lights in pass through storage. In the interior we’ve incorporated a glass top, flush-mounted range, LED accent and interior lights, 60” by 80” queen sized beds and comfortable tri fold sleeper sofas. To help streamline the ordering process and help our dealers better manage their inventory, most items are standard with minimal options.”
In addition to Sunset Trail Super Lite, CrossRoads has introduced an up-scale version called the Sunset Trail Grand Reserve, which most notable includes four front-windshield models along with upgraded automatic travel trailer leveling, 8 cu. Ft. refrigerators, roller shades and several other features exclusive to the brand.
