All-new “Experience Zones” located around the exhibit floor at this year’s 2016 National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., will encourage immersive, fun ways to connect, learn, and discover innovations and trends, according to a news release from Go RVing.
Go RVing will welcome show visitors to its “Activation Area” where attendees can drop by to experience Go RVing events and win swag from partners Bassmasters, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Outside magazine and the Tailgate Tour as they check out what’s on tap for the 2017 Go RVing campaign.
“We’re excited for Go RVing to bring its experiential events to life for the first time at our national show,” said Scott Graham, RVIA’s national show director. “Through four distinct areas, Go RVing will highlight our media partners and replicate what they do for the public at various events held across the country each year.”
Following are details of what will happen in each of the four zones:
Bassmaster Caster
Two targets will be set up for show goers to try their hand at casting, and Bass Pro angler David Walker will offer tips on how to cast and hit the targets on Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. – Noon and 2 – 4 p.m.
LPGA Away
A golf simulator will enable visitors to hit a virtual golf ball and pro golfer Pernilla Lindberg will offer pointers and chat with guests visiting the booth, on Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 9 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
Go Outside
Adventure skier and storyteller Brody Leven will bring the outdoors in as he demonstrates the latest and greatest outdoor gear. Think rock climbing, biking, skiing – the ultimate RV getaway.
Tailgate Time
The “Armchair Quarterback” beckons. It’s a tailgate party complete with the opportunity to sit in a large, bouncy lounger chair while trying to throw a football through a target. For less of a challenge, but still loads of fun, guests can play Corn Hole and Giant Jenga.
The Go RVing “Activation Area” will be set up in the South Wing C Lobby entrance area. Go RVing will participate in Happy Hour on Tuesday with its own Go RVing bar from 4:30 – 6 p.m., where there and throughout the show floor visitors can enjoy tastings of local bourbon, beers, and appetizers.
